Kathryn Lynch of Pequannock age 98

PEQUANNOCK — Services were held for Kathryn Augusta Lombard Lynch, 98, of this township, who died on Sunday, November 25, 2012.

Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. Lynch lived in Belleville for more than 50 years before moving to Pequannock. She began her career at the Fliud Chemical Company in 1952 and was a switchboard operator and receptionist before retiring from Ever Ready Label in 1976. Also, she was a den mother for the Cub Scouts and a member of the Rosary Society at St. Peter's Church, Belleville. She was a member of the Pequannock Seniors as well.

Services were Monday at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains, followed by interment at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Mrs. Lynch is survived by her son, John Lynch of Newton, Pa.; her daughter, Ann Marie Lynch Falstrom of Pequannock; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Lynch; and her son, Robert Lynch.
