Obituary: Bruce David Granat

PARAMUS — Bruce David Granat, 68, died on Nov. 4.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y. to the late George and Judith Granat, he was raised in New Rochelle, N.Y. and lived briefly in New York City before settling in Paramus 37 years ago. He received his business degree from New York University and then attended the master's program for business from Pace University. He ran his own business, Leinow Printing, which then became Bruce Graphics.

He is survived by his wife, Marylin (Schiff) Granat; his children, Karen Barbara and husband Jerry of Riverdale and Danielle Mirsky and husband Steven of Berkeley Heights; his grandchildren, David, Nathan and Tyler; his brother, Richard Granat and wife Nancy of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and his siblings-in-law, Frances and Tom Wills of Ossining, N.Y.

Visitation was held on Nov. 6 at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors in Hackensack, with interment at Beth El Cemetery in Paramus.

Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Community Center of Paramus, the Cardiac Units of Hackensack University Medical Center or Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center.
