Joseph NEGLIA Obituary
Joseph E., 83, of Norwood, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Bette Neglia (Lenza). Loving father of Michael and his wife Christine Neglia, and Laureen and her husband Michael Protomastro. Dear brother of Janet DeMarco & her husband Tony. Cherished grandfather of Joseph, Marissa, Katie, Kristy and her husband Patrick, Allison and her husband Michael, and Nicole. Adored great-grandfather of Alyssa, Zack, Emily, Abby, Timmy and Michael. Mr. Neglia was a licensed Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor and was the founder of Neglia Engineering Associates. He was past President of the NJ State Association of County Engineers, former State Vice President of Professional Engineers in Government, former President of the NJ State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and a member of The American Society of Civil Engineers and the NJ Society of Municipal Engineers. He was proud of his associations with St. Joseph High School as a former member of its Board of Trustees and a member of its Hall of Fame. Funeral service Saturday at 8 AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst. Funeral Mass 9 AM Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Entombment Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norwood EMS, 496 Broadway, Norwood NJ 07648. Send condolences to stellatofuneralhomes.com
