Kevin Tennant Obituary
Freehold - Kevin Tennant, 69, of Freehold, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at home. He was born and in Queens, NY and resided in Greentown, PA before settling in Freehold 5 months ago. Kevin played baseball for the Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens and received a baseball scholarship from Seton Hall University where he graduated. He coached basketball at St. Therese in Cresskill, NJ for 23 years. Before retiring, Kevin was an IT Project Manager for Bank of America in Jersey City, NJ. He enjoyed playing golf in his spare time.
Kevin is predeceased by his brothers Joseph and Robert. He is survived by his son Kevin (Michele); son Bryan (Denise); daughter Katherine (Jamie); son Michael; brother William (Dorothy): grand children Jake, Mikayla, Eleanor, Gwen, Finley and Hailey.
A viewing will be held on Monday, December 21st from 4 - 8 pm at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. The funeral mass is Tuesday, December 22 at St. Rose of Lima Church at 10:30 am. To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. i was fortunate to play with kevin at seton hall for two years. He was always a kind and helpful person on and off the field. i guess shep needed a catcher to catch Todd Heimer's knuckleball. rest in peace kev.

I had the honor to play with Kevin at Seton Hall University . I was a freshman and he was our senior catcher. He was a great leader and mentor. Please accept my prayers and condolences for your loss. R . I . P Kevin.

So sorry to hear Kevin/ Dad’s passing. Our family had such a great time at St. Therese’s gym during the basketball season. So many memories. He was a great coach! He will be missed. We’ll keep your family in our prayers.
