George A. Kral, Sr.
Bethlehem, PA - George A. Kral Sr., 83, of Bethlehem PA, formerly of Little Ferry, NJ passed away on January 9, 2021. He and his bride Phyllis started out their journey together owning the local candy store on Main Street. During his lifetime, he was the local newspaper delivery man, custodian at St. Margaret's School and employee for the Garden State Parkway. A skilled craftsman, he was also a builder with his brothers John and Howie. Woodworking was a hobby that he continued well into his retirement. "Pep" was an avid gardener. He was community oriented and known wherever he lived. He was an integral part of the Little Ferry Hose Company. He is a Life Member having served various offices. He was Ex-chief of the Little Ferry Fire Department. He was a proud US Army Veteran. George was the caring patriarch of his loving family. His pure joy was just spending time with them whether it be celebrating a birthday or holiday, dying Easter eggs, eating crab legs at a BBQ or teaching the next generation how to make Hoska. He is survived by his adored wife Phyllis, his loving siblings, John and Kathy Kral, Howard and Norma Kral, and Peter Smith. He was a devoted father to Dr. Leeanne McLean and her husband Chuck, Dr. Michael Kral and his wife Lynn, Scott Kral and his wife Donna, George Kral Jr and his wife Alison, Steven Kral and his wife Preeti, Rick Kral and Linda, Ryan Kral and his wife Sheryl, Tracey O'Brien and her husband Patrick, and Christopher Kral and his wife Angela. Loving grandfather to Larissa and Nick Gerlach, Lauren and Matt Kroche, Aubree and Yogesh Menghani, Mikhaila and Pierre Haddad, Jessica McLean, Liv O'Brien, Jack O'Brien, Georgia, Anton , Priya, Preston, Ryanna, Delany, Max, Garrett, Addison, Alyssa, Abigail, and Alexis Kral. Cherished great grandfather to Bodhi. He is also survived by many adored nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Helen and Anton Kral and his sister and brother in law Dale and William Combs.
