Hemlock Farms - Jack Gerald "Jerry" Zurlini, 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Hemlock Farms, Penn., on December 25, 2018. Jerry was born on February 5, 1931, in Tenafly, N.J., to Louise (Martini) and Caesar "Rico" Zurlini. Jerry graduated from Tenafly High School in 1948 and Manhattan College in 1953. Jerry served as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S.M.C. from 1953 to 1957. On February 1, 1957, Jerry married Margaret (Haurand) Zurlini and made Tenafly their home. Jerry was the Vice President of Jack Martini, Inc., a heavy construction company that was based in Tenafly. Jerry also was a member the Tenafly Board of Education, Republican Club, Lions, Unico, Knights of Columbus, Elks and many other organizations. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Margaret; sons Jack, Michael and wife Christie (Peters), Mark and wife Polly (Kelly), Paul, and Craig and wife Elisa (Tummiolo); twelve grandchildren; and numerous cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 10 County Road, Tenafly, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, January 12th.
