Paramus - Kaethe, (nee Kurczik), 90 of Paramus, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021.
Cherished wife of the late Karl Eugene Lorch (2006). Loving mother of Margarete Lorch-Denicola and her husband Robert; Karlheinz Lorch and his wife Donna; Suzanne Zickler and husband Dr. Robert Zickler, and Christopher Lorch and his wife Nancy. Treasured Oma of Robert & Christine Denicola, Dr. Richard and Dr. Praba Denicola; Matthew Denicola; Gabrielle Denicola; Kyle and Cassandra Lorch; Ryan and Rebecca Lorch, Zachary Lorch; Dr. William Zickler & Kristie Zickler; Michael Zickler; Thomas Zickler; Christine Zickler; Kevin Lorch; Andrew Lorch; Rebecca Lorch; Darren Lorch and great-grandchildren Calvin and Benson. Dear sister of Rudolf Kurczik, Germany.
Kaethe immigrated from Germany when she was 21 years old. Seven years later, she met and married Karl in Germany. She was a devoted wife and mother and left a loving legacy of 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who brought her the greatest joy. Always cheerful, patient, optimistic and kind, Kaethe saw the best in everyone. She was an amazing baker, and an avid organic gardener. From flowers to a bounty of vegetables, Kaethe could grow anything.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, May 22 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 357 N. Farview Avenue. Paramus. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to CARE.org
