William J. Kane

WILLIAM J. KANE, 93, of Franklin Lakes passed away on June 11, 2018.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he resided in Colonia before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1962. He was a graduate of LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Kane was currently employed in operations for American Music Supply of Oakland where he worked for the last 20 years. Previously, he was employed at William H. Cronin Co. of New York City from 1962-85 and then at Highland Mills from 1985-1998. He was a Veteran of the US Army during Wolrd War II

Mr. Kane was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Franklin Lakes, a former member of the Franklin Lakes Lions Club and a founding father of the Franklin Lakes Recreation Soccer League.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Theresa Bagnell Kane in 2011

Mr. Kane is survived by his four daughters, Suzanne Kane Crosby and her husband Brian of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathleen Kane and her husband Philip Tordella of Berwyn, Pa., Karen Kane Hovey and her husband James of Franklin Lakes, Maureen Kane La Bricciosa and her husband Joseph of Glen Mills; by his two sons, William J. Kane and his wife Tracey of Hawthorne and Michael Kane and his wife Suzanne of Wyckoff; his sister, Virginia Back of Philadelphia, Pa.; and his grandchildren, Scott, Kevin, Erin and Meghan Crosby, Daniel and Michael Hovey, Michael La Bricciosa, Rachel and Natalie Kane and Allison, Nicole and Jack Kane. Dear great-grandmother of Brian and Grace Crosby.

Please gather for a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 am Thursday at Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Franklin Lakes followed by interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
