Hackensack - Joseph L. Coppa 88, of Hackensack passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Born in Hackensack to the late William and Helen Coppa. He received his Master's Degree from N.Y.U. He was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Before retiring, Joseph was Vice-President of Accounting at Plus Mark Inc. in Carlstadt. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lodi and a member of the Architectural Committee for the new church. He was a Past Grand Knight of St. Michael's Knights of Columbus Council 2861 in Lodi, a Past District Deputy, a member of Bishop O'Connor Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus and a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. Beloved husband of Camille (nee Nuccitelli) Coppa. Dear brother of the late William Coppa. Brother-in-law of Claire Scarcella and her husband Salvatore, Anthony J. Nuccitelli and his wife Teresa, Joseph Nuccitelli and his late wife Frances and Marie Diamond and her late husband Bill. Cherished uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great great nephew. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, July 15th at 10 AM. Funeral Liturgy from St. Joseph's R.C. Church Lodi at 11 AM. Interment at Sarosota National Cemetery in Florida. Visitation Sunday, July 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Joseph's R.C. Church 40 Spring St. Lodi, NJ 07644 would be appreciated.
