Jamie MARRA Obituary
MARRA Jamie, age 25, passed on Friday, July 30, 2010. Born in Ridgewood, she lived in Pompton Lakes for seven years before moving to Oakland. Jamie was a graduate of Indian Hills High School, Oakland and William Paterson University where she received her B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. She was a first grade teacher at Martin Luther King Elementary School in Paterson. She was a caring and beautiful person who loved her family and truly enjoyed educating little children. She will be missed terribly and will never be forgotten by all that knew and loved her. Jamie is survived by her dear father and mother James and Joanne, her loving sisters Jennifer and Jill, her grandmothers Margaret Marra and Anna Puciata, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Avenue, Pompton Lakes. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.

Dear Jim, Joanne, Jenn, & Jill,
The time i shared with Jamie contained the happiest moments of my life. I have never loved anyone so deeply and had felt soo loved in return. I can't express enough how much joy she brought into my life and how much it meant to me being a part of hers. i will forever be grateful for the privilage of being a part of your family and for the kindness and love you showed me. There is a place in my heart i will allways hold dearly that will forever belong to Jamie.
