George Idell

IDELL George V., of Dumont on February 27, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve (nee Craft) and were loving parents of Joseph F. and his wife Ruth, Stephen C. and Theresa A. Idell. Predeceased by his second wife Margaret (nee Bunkosky). Dear brother of the late John J and Robert F. Devoted grandfather of Christopher, Peter and David and devoted great-grandfather of seven. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. George worked for Englewood Hospital and Medical Center for 42 years and retired as a Lab Coordinator in 1994. He was a Navy veteran serving in World War II and The Korean War. George was a parishioner at St. Therese R.C. Church Cresskill. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus with the Bishop White Council in Teaneck. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council for Bergenfield and Dumont.
