Ronald Conty

CONTY Ronald G., 78, of Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of New Jersey, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Florida. Born February 7, 1933 in Weehawken, NJ, he was the son of the late Genaro and Pauline Conklin Conty and had resided in Florida for the past ten years. Mr. Conty was a retired firefighter from North Bergen and was a member of the North Bergen VFW. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in The Korean Conflict, and was a devoted family man. His wife, Ferol Conty, died in 1998. Surviving are three children, Ronda Conty and Keith Conty, both of North Bergen, and Glen Conty of Pinebrook, NJ, three step-children, Jay Van Kleeck of Oliverbridge, NY, Marme Matthews of Stroudsburg, PA, and Stephanie Gannon Greenwood Lake, NY, and three grandchildren, Brittany, Erika and Ashley, his twin brother Donald Conty and his wife Lucille of Cape Coral, FL, and a sister Geri Rizzardi of Cliffside Park, NJ.
