North Haledon — Vincent "Jim" Marino, 94, died Aug. 13.

Born in Fraine, Italy, and formerly of Paterson, he lived in North Haledon for more than 60 years.

Before retiring in 1971 he was an electronic trouble shooter on flight simulators for Curtiss Wright Electronic Systems in Paterson. Previously he worked for Western Electric on the development of the first radar system. He also had a part-time photography business and repaired TVs and radios. He was also a parishioner at St Paul's R.C. Church, Prospect Park.

He was the husband of the late Molly Marino (2010); father of James and his wife, Phyllis, and the late JoAnne Zivkovitch; grandfather of three; and great-grandfather of five. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Service was Aug. 16 at St. Paul's R.C. Church with interment in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Arrangements by Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, Franklin Lakes.
