WEST MILFORD — Services were held for John Leonard Wigley Jr., 72, of the Villages, Fla., who died on Sunday, September 30, 2012. He was a former resident of this township.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y., Mr. Wigley lived in West Milford before moving to the Villages in 2005. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 102, Paterson. Also, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the New Jersey and New York Clubs and the Parkinson's Support Group as well.
Services were Friday at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, the Villages. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cornerstone Hospice and the National Parkinson's Foundation.
Mr. Wigley is survived by his wife, Judith; his daughters, Debra Donleavy of Wessttown, N.Y., and Pamela Reed of Vernon; his son, John of Oak Ridge; his sisters, Edith McCaffrey of Vernon, and Donna Saunders of Interlachen, Fla.; his brother, George of West Caldwell; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Edna.
