Harriet Garber Obituary
Harriet "Bubbe" (nee Rosenblum), age 72, of Wayne, formerly of Paterson and Fair Lawn, passed away peacefully on Friday night, April 29, 2016 surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Devoted and beloved motjher of Michael Garber and his wife Tracy and Nikki Lerner and her husband Jason. Proud and cherished grandmother of Ryan, Justin, Dylan, Riley and Paige. Dear sister of Estelle Schwartz. A private service and entombment will be held today. Memorial donations in memory of Harriet "Bubbe" Garber may be made to: Avon Walk for the cure - [email protected] - 646-518-0966. Arrangements are by Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn, NJ.

She was our neighbor, loved both of my kids. She used to come to our place occasionally for a cup of coffee. We moved to Turkey in december. She Stayed strong. Sending condolonces all the way from Turkey. We loved her as a family member. She will be missed.

DEAR NICKKIE AND MICHAEL SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOU MOMS PASSING . I FEEL LOST AGAIN LOOSING A DEAR FRIEND AMD I JUST LOST MY SISTER WHO YOUR MOM KNEW AND ALWAYS STOPPED TO TALK TO EACH OTHER AND MY SISTER WAS LIKE MY MOM . IT IS JUST ANOTHER LOSS FOR ME TO SO I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE ALL GOING THROUGH AND MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL OF YOU AND HER GRAND CHILDREN WHO WERE ALL SPECIAL TO HER. Harriet was a strong woman of dignity. She was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren as they were to her. It was a privilege to know Harriet, it was a blessing to call her friend. May she now be at peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a very nice and outgoing person. Ilene told me how sick she was. Your mom would assist with Family Promise - helping when the homeless families would spend a week at Shomrei Torah.
