Paolo Pieroni Obituary
Paolo Pieroni, age 88, of Little Ferry,NJ passed away at home on Sunday, May 20,2018 surrounded by family. Born in Barga, Italy in 1930 to Pietro and Renata(Mazzotti) Pieroni. He worked with his father at the family owned butchers market in his home town before coming to the United States in 1959 with his family, he was a long-time resident of Little Ferry for over 40 years. Prior to his retirement in1992, Paolo owned and operated a statutory business for numerous years.
Surviving are Paolo's beloved wife Marisa (nee Benassi) of 66 years; his son Fabio Pieroni and wife Katia also of Little Ferry; loving NONNO to Daniel Pieroni and Kristen Occhino and her husband Philip; cherished NONNO GIGI to his great granddaughters Giulia and Arianna. Special thanks to Nicole Simone for the special care she gave to Paolo. He was pre-deceased by his brother Inocenso and his sister Liana in Italy.
Funeral from the Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave, Maywood on Thursday, May 24,2018. Funeral mass at St. Margaret of Cortona Church, 31 Chamberlain Ave, Little Ferry, at 10:00 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington,NJ. Visiting Wednesday 4- 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy in Paolo's name are asked to consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association of New Jersey.
