I can't believe it's been 10 years that I haven't been able to see your face, hear you laugh or hug you. I remember you every single day. Some of my best memories are with you, Joey and my brother. I love you Fred. You are a light in all of our hearts that never goes out.

Fred,
It has taken me a long time to be able to convey my thoughts and feelings into words. As sad as I am that you aren't physically here with us, I've come to realize that you are here with me every day and always will be. You are not only a best friend but you are my family and you always will be. We share so many years of memories - many that I replay in my mind every day. There is always something that reminds me of you and always puts a smile on my face. I look at pictures and through my tears comes laughter from all of the joy you brought to not only me but to your family and friends everywhere. You are one of a kind and as I always told you - the shining star in all of our lives. You have touched so many people around us- and many times you didn't even realize it. You truly are an angel - and will never be forgotten. The love that people have for you is overwhelming and that will keep you here with us forever. Always know that you are a huge part of me and that will never change- and I do know you are watching over me and laughing with me when I think of all those memories. I love you Fred and miss you every day that goes by, but know you are here with me always.

Freddy
I must have read these entries countless times over the past two 2.5 years, but have been unable to articulate my thoughts, until now. The entries in this Guest Book confirm what I have known since childhood. When I hear people talk about you, it usually concerns one of two things: They are usually laughing uncontrolably while reliving some of your more memorable and outrageous escapades...or commenting on your kindness, generosity and love for your friends and family. I have always been amazed of what you were willing to do for your friends, family and even strangers--whether driving for hours in the middle of a snow storm to rescue a stranded friend --to finding shelter for a child who had been virtually abandoned by her parent and left outside in the cold.
To say that you had your own unique style is an understatement. With the exception of a few high school teachers (and some other authority figures), you were and continue to be loved by everyone. You should know, if you do not already, that not a day goes by that you are not thought of. I will make sure that Sienna carries your values and love for life with her always.

I was just upstairs going through tons of pictures and memories from middle and high school. The pictures, yearbook, and Last Will & Testament (what we left each other) reminded me of several great memories. Fred was a part of almost each one. Anything I write, everyone already knows -- the messages on here show how much Fred means to everyone that knew him. The last time I saw Fred was at Biaggio's and we picked up right where we left off years ago. He was the same person, wanting everyone to laugh and have a good time. We love you, Fred, and we all miss you so much!

I remember after Cindy's wedding my mom told me how Fred came up to her and asked "Do you remember me?". And she said "Fred, how could I ever forget you?". That sentence sums up how everyone feels about Fred. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. Anything can trigger a happy memory of a time with Fred. Although I deeply regret not keeping in touch for the past few years, I know that things like that did not bother him. He was so full of life and positive thoughts towards others that he did not let the "little things" take their toll. Having known and been friends with Fred was not only a priviledge but it was also an honor.
I treasure my memories with him and feel comfort in knowing that he is somewhere looking out for me.
Thank you Fred for being unforgettable!
I will love you always.

Fred,
I was talking today with some friends about our favorite High School memories...and you seemed to be in every single one. It made me miss you so much. And made me so sad that I let our friendship drift apart. I know that in the last few years we weren't close. But I will always consider you a friend. And I hope you know how much better you made my life just by being my friend, thank you. I miss you. Love, Lisa

I stopped by your house today. I introduced your father to my daughter, Bella. I know that you're looking after her. I can see it in her eyes when I talk to her about you. It's as though she already knows you. I'm sure she does!

There are not enough words to describe Fred...he was the most amazing person I've ever known. I have known him for over ten years now, and was always thrilled to be in his presence. He was fun, loving, sincere, and a truly fantastic person. The past year or so I have spent even more time with Fred than I had in the past and all I know is that I am so thankful for the memories...I will treasure them FOREVER. Fred will always be with us in the endless memories that all of his friends and family share.

I still do not believe or accept what has happened to the love of my life Freddy! For the past decade he has been my backbone, my best friend, my everything and I will miss him dearly. He now holds my deepest secrets that nobody will ever know and what we shared I will never share with another soul. I love him and his family and they are all in my thoughts and prayers. As I entered his room last night, I felt him there and I laughed and cried while observing every inch of his belongings. I will never forget our memories and I am truly the luckiest person to have had him in my life. Fred is by far the most wonderful person in this world and one day I will be with him again.

Fred was the most caring and generous person I will ever know. He was friends with everyone and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. If you were blessed enough to know Fred than you were lucky. Friends like Fred are hard to come by. There are so many memories that I will never forget. I know that we did not talk much anymore, but the memories will last a lifetime. Fred was a great friend to me and was always there for me. He was one of the funniest guys around and could always make you laugh no matter what. Fred, you will be greatly missed. You were one of a kind.

Fred was a wonderful person who always brought a smile to my face. He was my best friend in middle school, and he truly defined the word friend. Fred always expressed how much he loved his family. I have so many fond memories and stories from those days that all have Fred in them. He will live on with me forever. Fred, you will be missed.

When Sonny Bono passed away, Cher spoke at his funeral. She spoke of a section in Reader's Digest called "The Most Unforgetable Character I've Ever Met". For anyone who knew Fred, it seems to be the most fitting discription I can come up with. He truely was the most unforgetable character. He had a heart of gold and would trip over himself to help a frend. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. It never mattered whether you saw him once a year, or everyday. He still greeted you with the same excitement. He lived, loved and laughed with passion.
To my dear friend, I'm not quite sure how to begin. My love and adoration for you are feelings that are difficult to explain. I just wanted you to know that I will thank God everyday for the gift of knowing and loving you. Your presence in my life was a blessing. All of the times we spent together are embedded in my heart forever. My pictures, stories, laughs, scars, and memories are the gifts you left me for which I will be eternally thankfull. I believe these gifts ARE your legacy. These will be the things I will lovingly pass on to my daughter so that she will always know the love of her Uncle Fred. I will teach her what a kind soul you were, how your smile could light up a room, how your energy was electric, and your laugh...infectious. She will learn that life should be enjoyed and not just lived. I will tell her all about our funny adventures, like the time we went camping and the day we had a food fight in your kitchen. I will never be able to jump suddenly without saying "Fred chill". I will smile at every white Buick I see. Everytime I hear the word cylinder, I will smile and think of you. I will try not to miss you because I know you are now, and will always be, in my heart. Just as you have always been. I love you, dear friend.

My deepest sympathies to Fred's family. I spend many fun afternoons with Fred at James' house. I saw Fred many years later at Starbucks and he went out of his way to say hello and chat with me.
