Trÿntje "Nina" Glass (née Zwart) Passed away peacefully at Springdale Manor on February 27th, 2021 in her 92nd year. Nina is predeceased by her husband Philip and her six siblings. She was a much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA and the Netherlands. Nina immigrated to Alberta with her brother Andrew and family in 1959, and worked for many years as a nurse in Alberta and Ontario. After her marriage to Philip Glass, they lived in both Oshawa and Hamilton and then retired to Brighton. Nina will be remembered for her happy, compassionate demeanor and the twinkle in her eye, despite the challenges of Alzheimer's disease in her later years. One of her favourite quotes was from Mother Theresa, whose compassion and belief in God she shared. "We can do no great things. Only small things with great love." Funeral Arrangements are entrusted with WEAVER Life Centre - East, 29 Bay St., Trenton. A Public Graveside Service will take place in the Spring of 2021 at the Quaker Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Online condolences at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
