Preston - Jean Ann Clevenshire Fowler left this world on January 31, 2021.
She was born to Edward Joseph and Annabelle (Fox) Clevenshire on June 29, 1941. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annabelle Clevenshire, her father, Edward Clevenshire, and her brother, William Clevenshire.
Jeannie (as she was known to her friends and family) was known for her quick wit, laughter, ability to tell a good story, joy of reading, and unique cooking style. She always enjoyed activities in her community and her church; Preston City Congregational Church.
Jeannie shared her life with her husband of over 50 years, Irving "Sonny" Fowler of Preston. They raised six children together, Calvin Fowler and his wife Donna of Tennessee, Viola Fowler Kennowi and spouse Mohammed of Central Village, Carrie Fowler Birdsong of Texas, Duane Fowler of Texas, Paul Fowler of California and Bradley Fowler of New London.
She enjoyed numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. Her granddaughter, Jennifer Eyeberse was such a blessing to her Meme. Jennifer's service to Jeannie will never be forgotten. William Clevenshire's three daughters were especially significant to Jeannie as well.
She will be greatly missed, her reign of Prankster Princess will live on through the shared laughter and tears of those that knew and loved her.
Services are tentatively planned for June 29, 2021, through Preston City Congregational Church.
