George A. Potter February 14, 1939 - May 26, 2012 Norwich - George A. Potter, 73, husband of Alice (Milunus) Potter of 42 West Main St., Baltic, died Saturday at Backus Hospital. Born in Norwich on February 14, 1939, he was the son of the late George S. and Ruth (Avery) Potter. Prior to his retirement he was a chemical operator at Charles Pfizer Co. He then worked as a cab driver for Norwich Cab Co. and then Rose City Taxi. Surviving is his wife Alice (Milunus) Potter of Baltic, his son and daughter in law Scott and Katarina Potter of Preston; his daughter Laurie Potter of Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Shawn Chappel, Matthew and Julee McCarthy, and Alexander and Lyudmilla Potter. According to his wishes services and interment will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the CT Humane Society, 169 Old Colchester Rd., P.O. Box 41, Quaker Hill, CT 06375 Arrangements by Labenski Funeral Home.

what can i say about george well i know he had a big heart and a nac to get things done have fun up there big guy

I didn't know George well, but I know he loved to run, loved his wife and loved life with a zest. He loved and lived and made a lasting impression.
God will bless George and watch over Alice.
