The Guest Book is expired.

George is survived by wife Judy, daughters Teresa (Steve) and Kristi, sister Cathy (Bobby), and Aunt Ruth.

George was a man of many interests and talents: scuba diver, skier, golfer, fisherman, cyclist, kayaker, volunteer at the Vancouver Symphony and Tourism Vancouver and was an avid world traveler. He also loved cooking and baking for family and friends. His famous Finnish sweet bread was treasured by all who received a beautifully wrapped loaf at Christmas time. George was always a gentleman; modest, gracious, kind and generous. His was a life well lived and he will be greatly missed!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca (2 Bloor Street East, Suite 3500, Toronto ON M4W 1A8) would be appreciated. There is a tribute page set up: "In Loving Memory of George Shepherd" that can be accessed online.

Our sincere thanks to friends and family for their love and support during this difficult time. We are grateful for the care and comfort provided by the palliative team at Lions Gate Hospital.
