James "Mick" Jackson, Jr., 57, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Warren Memorial Hospital.

A Home Going service will he held on Monday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Inurnment will be private.

Mick was born February 18, 1963, in Fauquier County, Virginia, son of James Oliver Jackson, Sr. of Front Royal and the late Marvel "Stone" Roberts Jackson. He was a U.S. Army veteran and owned and operated his own business Jackson Logistics.

Surviving with his father are his wife of 35 years Sharon Lockhart Jackson; two sons Zach Jackson of Front Royal and Nate Jackson (Ashley) of Toms Brook; three brothers Larry Jackson and wife Monica of Winchester, Mike Jackson and wife Irene of Manassas and Danny Jackson and wife Tina of Gainesville, Florida; three sisters Shirl Jackson (Timmy) of Washington, Virginia, Tracy Jackson of Woodstock and Stacy Tann and husband Brooks of Stephens City; one granddaughter Novah Jackson; three special "grandsons" Marques, James and Tyson; one special niece Amanda Seal McClanahan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 18 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

I'm so sorry to hear James has passed, he was always so full of energy and made us all laugh every time he came by the shop. A hard working man that we all thought highly of. My condolences to his family. Thank you for your service to our country James. Rest in peace brother we are all going to miss you.
