Charles Shull Obituary

Charles "Sonny" Franklin Shull Jr., 75, of Winchester, VA died, November 16, 2010 at Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Shull was born on January 12, 1935 in Winchester, VA to the late Charles F. Shull, Sr. and Mary Frances Hillyard Sanders.

Mr. Shull served in the United States Army and also the National Guard.

Sonny's first job was delivering the paper for the Winchester Star. He then worked as a compounder for O'Sullivan Corp and then for the Winchester City School System as a courier.

Surviving are his children, Capricia "Cissy" Shull and Charles F. Shull, III both of Winchester; a grandson, Joshua L. Shull of Winchester; a sister, Betty Shull Triplett of Stephens City; two nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Dina M. Shull.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.

The graveside service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010, 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
