Susie Hiatt Wagner PORTER, IN - Susie Hiatt Wagner, age 71, of Porter, IN, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2018 at her home after a nearly 2-year battle with brain cancer. Susie was born on April 9, 1947 in Indianapolis, IN to Robert and Ruth Hiatt. She was a 1965 graduate of Bishop Chatard High School. In 1968 she married Raymond Wagner of Remington, IN. Susie was a dedicated stay at home mom until returning to work as a business owner. She had a smile that was infectious and a spirit that was contagious. Susie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being at her beloved summer home on Lake Freeman. Susie is survived by her sons: Jason (Kara Campobasso) Wagner of New Hampshire, Ryan (Paula) Wagner of Indianapolis and Matt Wagner of Valparaiso; daughter, Susan (Paul Money) Wagner of Porter; grandchildren, Serena, Kennedy, Erin, Maddux Wagner and Memphis Money; and devoted siblings, John Hiatt and Mary Hiatt Sexson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; grandson, Jacob; brothers, Mike and Bob Hiatt. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CST at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Rd., Chesterton, IN with Father Jon Plavcan and Father Jerry Schweitzer officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. CST to 8:00 p.m. CST at EDMONDS & EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304. Memorial donations may be made to , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Comer Childrens Hospital, Medicine and Biological Sciences Development Office, 5801 S. Ellis Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637.
