Vasilios Tsouklis Our beloved father and grandfather Vasilios Tsouklis was taken by the Lord on Sunday, June 10th 2018. A good man and a great father. He was the son of Konstantinos and Maria Tsouklis and was born in Greece in 1937. He immigrated to the United States in 1968 and was a resident of Winfield, Indiana since 1994. He was a graduate of the School of Law and Political Science in Athens, Greece. Attended Indiana University for the Post Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting, Purdue University for his Master's Degree in Industrial Management and DePaul University in Chicago for his Master's Degree in Economics: Major was Quantitative Economics and Minor was Business Economics. He worked in a variety of capacities in the private and public sector. Vasilios was a very ambitious and progressive individual. The owner of Tsouko Construction, building families of Winfield distinctively beautiful homes since 1998. He is survived by his wife, Eleni Tsouklis; his daughter, Marsha Tsouklis-Ward (Eric); his grandsons: William Arthur, Nikolas David Ward and his son, Konstantine Tsouklis, his successor. Bill was a member of SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Merrillville, Indiana. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 14th 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at CALUMET PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, Indiana. The Trisagion prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15th 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the SS. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 8000 Madison Street, Merrillville, Indiana. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana.
