Kenneth E. Markfull, Jr. DYER, IN - Kenneth E. Markfull, Jr., age 64, of Dyer passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janet Markfull; mother Joanna Markfull; sister Joni Markfull; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Sr. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at FAGEN-MILLER FUNERAL HOME,8580 Wicker Ave., St. John, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Ken coached girl's basketball for over 30 years including numerous players that have gone on to play and coach at the college level including three NCAA Division 1 players. His coaching includes St John the Evangelist, Hobart High School, Andrean High School (where he led them to 4 sectional and 1 regional title), and also IU Northwest. During his career he earned Post-Tribune Coach of the year, LAC/NCC Conference Coach of the year 5 times, and IBCA Coach of the year.
