Bette Lorber Obituary

1922 - 2011
Bette Weintraub Lorber, 89, died peacefully on Sept. 22, 2011. Beloved wife of Jerome Lorber; mother to Barbara and Stewart Sims, Richard and Pati Weintraub & Mark and Alice Weintraub; grandmother and great grandmother, and sister to Rita Merin & Anita Child.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Sept. 25, at Riverside-Nassau North Chapel, at 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, NY (516-487-9600; www.riversidenassaunorthchapels.com).
The family will be receiving guests after the internment at the Lorber residence (North Shore Towers, 270-10 Grand Central Pkwy, Floral Park, NY; PH E), and on Monday & Tuesday 4-6 pm.
Gifts in Bette's memory may be made to Long Island Jewish Hospital.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Our thoughts, love and prayers are with Bette's family today. She was a wonderful woman, mother and grandmother and will be missed. But her spirit will continue on through her children and grandchildren. God Bless you all during this difficult time.
