The thing about Lois that I will remember most fondly is how she could cut to the heart of a matter with a wicked, dead-pan humor. She made me laugh - sometimes ruefully, sometimes uproariously, sometimes both at the same time. God rest her beautiful soul.

I am so sorry for your loss. Reading her Obituary was an inspiration. I never had the pleasure of meeting Lois, but reading about her gave me the sense of a person who made the most of the time she had and gave back to those around her. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. Sharon Beilinson
