ADAM NOVAK

NOVAK--Adam, died on June 11, at age 89, after a long illness. Beloved husband of Nadia and of the late Bronka, cherished father of Linda and Karin, and father-in-law of Robert and Daniel, and adored "Papa" of Julia, Katie, Eric, Alex and Brian. Born in Warsaw, Poland, he survived the Holocaust and surmounted all obstacles to create a loving family and a highly successful international business career. He was beloved and esteemed by all who knew him for his extraordinary intellect, absolute integrity, immense strength of character and deep humanity. A true gentleman and Renaissance man, he spoke multiple languages and traveled extensively, and his gallantry, erudition and quick wit made him wonderful company. Most of all, he was the guiding light and guardian of his family, and will live on in our hearts always. Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11:45am at "The Riverside" 76th St and Amsterdam Ave.
