I just learned of Mrs. Fial's passing. We sent her a Christmas card and it was returned. My Dad worked for the Florida Tomato Committee, and he and my Mom became friends with her, and stayed at her place in Manhattan. When my parents went into assisted living in 2013, Mrs. Fial would call regularly to check on them. My wife and I took a trip to Manhattan in May 2015, and while we were there, Mrs. Fial invited me to stop by and visit her. When I arrived at her place, I saw her coming down the sidewalk with some snacks for our visit. She had made a special trip to the store just for our visit.
She was such a kind person and will be missed!

My condolences to her family. I worked for her for 13 years. She was an amazing and caring woman and boss. You will be missed.
