BARDIN LEVAVY Obituary
aficionado of music, literature, and baseball, died on June 15. He was a keen student of history and a gifted wordsmith. Dedicated to family and friends, he worked on reunions for Rutgers Prep, Johns Hopkins University, and Harvard Law School. He also achieved ABD in English Literature at NYU. In 1987, he was co-counsel with James Boskey for Dolores & Murray Putzer in their successful fight for Mr. Putzer's right to die; the case was part of a dialogue on the rights of patients in persistent vegetative states. Throughout his career, Bardin was active in local civic organizations in NJ. He is survived by wife Sue-Ellen & children Rafi and Sara. His funeral will be on June 17 at 11:30am at Oheb Shalom in South Orange, NJ. Donations in his memory can be made to Marlboro Music Festival, 1528 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102 or the Music Fund at Oheb Shalom.

I'm so honored to have had the opportunity to work with him in planning his 50th Harvard Law School reunion last Fall. We had many chats on the phone, all of which he worked hard to make me laugh. My condolences to his family.
