BETTY HOWARD Obituary
Cherished wife and partner of 70 years, adored mother and sister, beloved grandmother, revered teacher and vocal coach to professional actors at the Michael Howard Studios, Betty passed away peacefully at home on January 18th at 97, taking her grace, wit and beauty, but not her loving presence, from this earth. She is survived by husband Michael, sister Mary Bartholomew, sons Christopher (Leslie Weber) and Matthew (Stephanie Checkle), grandchildren Lucas and Clea, numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and countless grateful students in the theatre community. A celebration of Betty's life will be held on May 1st at The Michael Howard Studios at 3pm. Please RSVP to: [email protected].

Dear Betty, We met each year at the holiday party or when you and Michael were headed out to an event. I thought you were one of the most gentle souls I had met. I though you always looked impeccable and it was of course the spirit more than the outfit. I am so sorry Michael. I did not know until now. My thoughts are with the whole family.
