Condolences to the Foggs from your Maine family and friends. Blaine lived life large (remember his marathon era?) and was a source of wonderment to us, his young second cousins. We were unaware of the extent of his Legal Services activities a real-life John Grisham hero who used his immense legal knowledge to help those less fortunate.

Condolences to the family. Fin was one of those remarkable people who, way back in 1960-62 was a classmate who seemed pretty much just like the rest of us, but who later took off on a remarkable path of growth and maturity and ultimately true service to his fellow human beings. A life well lived.

Fin was my oldest friend - 70-71 years. I first met him at Medomak Camp when I was 8 or 9. Then we met again at Williams College - roommates etc. Again in Cambridge where we roomed together while at separate graduate schools. Best Man in my wedding. I brought Fin his first outside deal after he joined Skadden Arps - a peanut offering. Later Fin was there for me during several critical episodes in my life including a deal hanging in the wind after the 9/11 attack. He stood by me during a protracted lawsuit and trial that we were finally successful in after two years. I will miss him so much. Always there for me. Always quick with the flip remarks, but when it counted he was 100%. Thankfully he had Diane who was an angel and strong supporter in every way to the end.

Dear Diane, I was deeply saddened to hear that Finn had passed but I know he waged a fierce battle against the cancer he had. I consider it an extreme privilege that I got to know you and Finn after Williams and he leaves an extraordinary legacy from all he has accomplished in his life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With sympathy, Jay and Toshiko Tompkins
