What a shock to learn that my former classmate (at West Phila. high School) and neighbor on Florence Avenue, Boris Drucker, known to his friends as "Buddy", has passed away. I am one year younger than he, and we both went to the same Temple, Beth Am Israel, where I met my husband, who is now retired Rabbi Jacob Pressman. Buddy was always very funny, not just in his cartoons. The last time I saw him was at a West Philly High (class of '38) reunion. Such fond memories! I would love to hear from some of his family.
