My condolences to his family. I was a student of his in the 70's and part of a group of students that he mentored and poured his knowledge into. He was such a great influence on me as a social worker! May his soul rest in power.

I was so sorry to read about the passing of Courtney Brown Sr. I was a student at Hunter School of Social work in the mid 70s, and his class was a MUST! My first serious introduction to the realities of race in America. Thank you Professor Brown. Rest in power and peace.
