The Yeshiva University family is profoundly saddened by the sudden passing of Dan Silber, of Scarsdale, in the midst of his young years. An alumnus of Yeshiva College and Harvard Law School, he was a respected managing director at Credit Suisse. He was beloved in the Scarsdale community where he was an active leader in the Young Israel of Scarsdale and the Westchester Day School. Dan Silber was the loving husband of Sirena and the proud father of their three children, Joseph, Jack, and Rebecca. He emulated his revered parents, Prof. William and Lillian Silber, YU Guardians, in his kindness and concern for the community and for Jewish and general education. His siblings are Jonathan (and Elana) Silber, and Tammy (and Danny) Chesner. May the entire family find comfort among all who mourn for Zion and Jerusalem. Yeshiva University Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President of Yeshiva University Moshael J. Straus, Chairman of Yeshiva University Board of Trustees
