Dana Alison Wyckoff of Washington DC and NY passed away at the age of 57 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Adored daughter of Barbara Heafey Wyckoff and Edwin Brit Wyckoff, Dana attended Boston University and NYU, earning degrees in English and Medieval Literature. During a career as a writer Dana worked in the White House Office of Public Liaison and for the public television station WETA. A lifelong volunteer, Dana contributed her talents to the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Democratic National Convention. Dana was instrumental in establishing the Washington DC Rosedale Library and served on the Executive Board of the Federation of Public Libraries. A sparkling wit with keen intellect and generous spirit, Dana's radiant personality will be forever missed.
Dana will be laid to rest at Washington DC Congressional Cemetery following a Funeral Mass at St Agnes Church in Arlington and a secular Memorial Service at the Arlington Navy League on December 1, 2017.
