ALLEN--Rabbi Daniel R. The board of American Friends of Magen David Adom and the organization's staff mourn the passing of Rabbi Daniel R. Allen, the organization's former chief executive officer. We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mary Lou; their children, Sarah; Rabbi Uri Allen and Uri's wife, Sari; and Noah and Noah's wife, Rena; and Danny and Mary Lou's grandchildren, Livya, Doron, Aderet, and Yedidah. We hope they will be comforted by his memory and by the knowledge of his lasting legacy -- the thousands of lives in Israel saved by his work over the years.
