MOOS--Edward A.,

one of three brothers born to Henry and Dorothy in Brooklyn, NY on July 17, 1937, passed at home surrounded by family on June 8, 2018. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Louise, three children, Philip, Antonia and Minh, and six grandchildren, Madeleine, Cecilia, Charlie, Lulu, Philip and Morgan. Also his brother, Warren. Ed died after a long battle with Parkinsons. Ed graduated from Houghton College in 1959 and later served on its board for six years. He then started working at Smith Barney followed by Weeden and Co for 15 years where he eventually ran the Fixed Income department before starting E.A Moos and Co in 1978. He ran his business successfully until retiring in 2004. Ed loved adventure, from trekking in the Himalayas, biking in China and helicopter skiing in British Columbia. Louise was by his side for many of these trips. He was also an avid racquets player. In his later years he got great joy from playing golf with the Round Table at Canoe Brook Country Club as well as skeet shooting and endless games of Gin Rummy at the Log Cabin Gun Club. Ed cared a great deal for the disabled and less fortunate. He was a tireless supporter of The Cheshire Home of Florham Park, NJ, having been Chairman of the Board there for a number of years. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Cheshire Home of Florham Park, NJ, 9 Ridgedale Ave., Florham Park, NJ 07932. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church in Short Hills, NJ.
