Dear Joan:
Holly and I learned about Ernie's death recently and our prayers and thoughts go out to you and the other memebrs of the family. We fondly remember your time as our guests in Hednerson, NC in 1990.
May the love you had for each other continue to sustain you in the coming months and years.

Dear Joan, only yesterday did we learn of Ernie's passing. Now living in WI it takes longer for news to get to me. Ernie left an extraordinary legacy. We will always remember the many good times we shared in Ann Arbor and Darien, CT.
I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
In sympathy,
Beth (Mrs. Gerald J.) Fischer
