Born in Lowell, MA '32; BA Yale '53; '53-57 US Navy Lieutenant; MA Oxon Balliol College, Oxford '59 on a Fullbright; Professional: '60-70, Vice President and Editor-in-Chief, Trident Press and Pocket Books Divisions Simon & Schuster; '71-72, studied Ikebana, here and in Japan; '73-76, Co-Director, Carus Gallery, NY; '76, started Prakapas Gallery, NY. '85 authored the forward to Bauhaus photography, MIT Press; '86 Visiting Curator, San Francisco Museum Modern Art. Member Art Dealers Association of America; Association of International Photography Art Dealers. Brilliant, imaginative, innovative, vibrant. He will be hugely missed by his wife and friends.
