VENER--Frank. Frank Vener of Westport, CT, passed away on May 12, 2019 at the age of 85. After graduating from UVM in 1956, Vener's career centered around the ski industry, culminating in his own company, Vener Associates. Vener then ran the US branch of NAVA Skiing Systems and most recently was the CEO of Metlon Corporation. Frank's hobbies included tennis, skeet shooting, boating, but especially flying his beloved Bonanza. He volunteered as a pilot for Angelflight where he donated medical care flights. Frank was a devoted husband of 57 years to Nancy, and father to Lori, Kira and Daniel. Frank had the pleasure to be called Grandpa by Kimberly, Kirsten, Kayla, Aiden and Liam. A memorial service will be held May 16, 2019 at Temple Israel, 14 Coleytown Road, Westport, CT with celebration of life to follow. Donations may be made to Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 555 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.
