KELLOGG--Frederick F., Jr.
Kane Lodge No. 454 F. & A. M. announces with profound sorrow the death of our esteemed Brother Frederick Kellogg, Jr. on June 22, 2016 at the age of 88. A graduate of Steven Institute of Technology and Columbia University, Kellogg was a licensed engineer in four states, eventually serving as Chief Engineer for the Village of Larchemont for over two decades. To mention a few, He was a member of the Princeton Club and Mensa, as well as the Mayflower, St. Nicholas, and Huguenot Societies before joining the Lodge on December 2, 1980 where he served the craft faithfully for 36 years. Kellogg is survived by his sister, Dr. Joan Renz, by his sons Freddie and David, and by his grandchildren Alexander, Stephanie, Jennifer, and Brian. A brief memorial service was held on June 28th at the Church of the Incarnation in New York. As one of the pillars of Kane Lodge, he shall be greatly missed and warmly remembered.
