FORSTER-- George, M.D. Faculty and staff of The Mount Sinai Medical Center are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend and long-time colleague George Forster, MD, a respected neurologist and professor. After serving as chief resident and completing his residency training in Neurology at what is now the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1977, Dr. Forster became a voluntary attending physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital, and continued to teach. In 2008, he became a full-time faculty member at Mount Sinai. A gifted clinician and educator, Dr. Forster's warmth and expertise touched many lives. He was a deeply valued member of the Mount Sinai community. The Mount Sinai family extends heartfelt condolences to his son, Daniel K. Forster. Peter W. May, Chairman, Boards of Trustees, The Mount Sinai Medical Center; Kenneth L. Davis, MD, President and CEO, The Mount Sinai Medical Center; Dennis S. Charney, MD, Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Dean, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, The Mount Sinai Medical Center; and Stuart C.
