CLARK--Gregory Russell Gregory Russell Clark, age 44, of Manhattan, died on March 20, 2012. Greg was a beautiful, loving, caring man who lived life to the fullest. He was genuine, opinionated, outrageously funny and loved by so many. He was also enormously talented, and at the peak of his career as a singer, songwriter, vocal producer and arranger. Greg was the vocal contractor for the TV series Smash. He sang on commercials for Swiffer, Charmin, Revlon and Coke, worked on the soundtracks for Hairspray, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Sparkle, and appeared on Oprah, Ellen, Jimmy Fallon and Saturday Night Live. He sang with Sir Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Sting, Aretha Franklin and Oleta Adams. Greg will be forever loved and missed by his partner, Matthew Bost, his father, Adell Clark, and his siblings, Valarie McEachern and Byron Clark. A memorial will be held at 7:15pm on June 22nd at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the NY Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center, 111 Amsterdam Ave. (between 64th and 65th Sts.)
