Whenever I see an urban tree being abused, I immediately classify the act as "Arboricide" and credit Henry with that term. Unfortunately I have to use it more often than I would like but it always brings Henry to mind.
RIP Henry - you are missed.

Every time I see a tree that has been abused, Henry and the term he created to capture this criminality comes to mind. When I declare "Arboricide", European colleagues always ask me about the word as they never heard it before and it gives me an opportunity to share some of my "Henry" experiences.

Dear Henry. We didn't always agree on the best way forward but we always agreed on just how much trees mattered. Whenever I use your term "arboricide" I think of you. RIP and know that I will carry on for both of us as a tree protection warrior.
