Eight long years after we lost Ina, her memory survives undiminished in the minds of those of us who always appreciated her and enjoyed her company.

Both Ina and her brother represented all the best qualities of our CL&L program at Marymount Manhattan College. (That's where I got to know them - I was the Dean of Continuing Education, and the CL&L with its volunteer faculty and board was one of the college's finest programming contributions to our Upper East Side neighborhood.
I think of Ina and her brother with so many fond memories. They represented all the best qualities I admire: respect for others, strength of character, gentleness, dignity, intelligence - and goodness.
I especially recall Ina's many contributions to CL&L's academic rigor. She helped us understand so many aspects of our world through her courses on Russian Literature, American and Russian Politics, Civil Rights, Terrorism, Variations on Democracy. Ina was amazing and her influence was significant – and she was such a delight to work with and to know.
I was privileged to know both Ina and her brother. I, and many others, miss both of them. I wish there were more people in this world like them.
My deepest sympathies to Ina's family and to all who love her. I share your loss.

I'm deeply saddened by our collective loss. Ina was always so kind and thoughtful. She had an infectious smile that radiated warmth. I will miss her presence at family gatherings. With Love,
