ROUSSO--Irving L.

The Yeshiva University family is saddened by the passing of Irving L. Rousso, the beloved son of the late Louis E. and Dora Rousso, YU Benefactors. He and his late brother, Eli L. Rousso, a YU Benefactor with his wife, Julia, and a past chair of the Board of Trustees of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, were among the founders of the Sephardic Home for the Aged. Irving was also the founder and president of the Sephardic Temple of Cedarhurst. The Rousso family supported YU's Sephardic Programs and established scholarships for deserving Sephardic students, a tradition continued by Irving's son, Louis I. Rousso. Condolences are extended to his wife, Barbara, and sons, Louis, Ira and David; daughters-in-law, June and Gabrielle; and their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May they find comfort among all who mourn for Zion and Jerusalem. Min Hashamayim tenuhamu. Yeshiva University Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman, President Moshael Straus, Chairman
