JOSEPH MARIO SPERONI (Age 91)

It is inconsolable to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Joseph "Joe" Mario Speroni on Sunday November 26, 2017 in Stuart FL at age 91. Joe was born to Emilio and Elena Speroni in Milford, MA. He graduated from School of business at University of California at Berkeley. He served United States Air Force and Pentagon for over 20 years until retiring as Lt Colonel.

Extraordinarily brilliant and insightful, Joe had success on everything he did. He was the Founder and Chairman of Business Computer Services, Inc (BCSI), one of the largest privately held payroll and tax filing service bureaus in the United States and a pioneer of Windows-based payroll and human resources solutions headquartered in McLean, Virginia and one of top 13 companies awarded by IRS in 1997 for processing more than $1 billion payroll taxes.

As a gifted serial entrepreneur, Joe was a lifetime adventurist and workaholic. Being benefited from his well-known discipline, Joe enjoyed great health that allowed him to start new online payroll&HR services at age 80, to play tennis at age 89, and to explore new technologies until last days. As a pilot, he often flew to serve clients on weekends. Joe was a genius architect. He uniquely designed and built his two homes with Japanese gardens at McLean VA and Sailfish-point of Stuart FL.

Joe devoted his deep love to his late wife Gloria for over 50 years until her passing in 2001 and raised six sons: Robert, Richard (d. 2001), Stephen, Paul, David and Joseph. He was a selfless and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother and is survived by his long time love Sophia, five sons, thirteen grandchildren: Rachelle, Danielle, Michael, Lauren, Philip, Michelle, David, Nick, Jack, Vince, Matthew, Zachary, Tommy, one great-grandson, and brother Richard. Joe was a generous friend and candid educator to many who know him with significant positive impacts on their lives.

Funeral, Interment, and Memorial services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be announced accordingly.
