Marshall and his parents were my neighbors when I was growing up on the north side of Chicago. Marshall tried to teach me to ride my bicycle, but my balance was off. Still he was there for me in other ways. A special person in my life. I was just on eBay and found letters that his mother wrote to him. I have that collection now. However, I would really like to find any of Marshall‘s family who might want to have those letters. My name is Leslie Hormats Newman. I can be contacted on Facebook.
I wish I had been able to see Marshall before he died. He was a huge help to me.

I never met Mr. Izin, but his rendition of 'Sorcerer's Apprentice' remains in heavy rotation at my home, 48 years after my Mom first placed it on the turntable. Yesterday I heard his distinctive voice on Amazon, narrating a long story. I thank him for his talents and willingness to share them. God bless his soul, and peace to his family. Greatest thanks, and deepest condolences.
